All instructors are professional, experienced, very kind and fun to work with. You will enjoy unforgettable experience and learn very safe way, following IKO teaching standards. Every student will receive IKO member card showing finished level, after the end of instruction, and will be registered online as IKO kiteboarder.

KiteTucket is IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) Affiliate center and instructors are IKO certified. This is part of our standard safety training. Everyone on the team puts our customers safety first. We want you to be comfortable throughout the progression of your kiting education.
Our Story
Kite Tucket was founded by Juraj Bencat. Originally born in Slovakia he has over 30 years of boarding experience. Skiing in the mountains and back country felt like home to me. When I came to America, I began looking for the home, I found it through kitting". Previous to kitting Juraj was a rock climber and engineer. Today he is a professional Architect working and living on Nantucket for 13 years. Juraj is a family man and a father of two!
Personalities
Each member of our team is kind, caring, compassionate and understanding. These core value we believe are essential to cultivating an environment for positive growth and learning. We all have various other backgrounds from architecture buildings to engineering and design. We bring this seemingly disparate skills to our kiting life. Because of our diversification and emphasis on core values, we believe we can best assist the new student.
Experience
Our instructors not only have over a decade of experience each, but also diversify over many board sports such as snowboarding, skating, skiing, surfing, foil-boarding.
Training Future Instructors
KiteTucket also offers IKO assistant instructor (AITC) and Instructor Level 1 (ITC) courses for experienced kiters who want to become certified instructors and explore the world teaching in some of many IKO affiliate centers.
A Word from Our Coaches
Juraj started kiteboarding on Nantucket in 2009 and quickly became self sufficient kiteboarder, enjoying strong winds and stormy weather, ideal for big jumps, megaloops and powered tricks. He also never misses a great day on the south shore when the waves and wind pick up and conditions become challenging for strapless kitesurfing.

Dariusz Garko grew up in Poland and began his journey and passionate commitment to physical performance at 15 years old when he was selected for a semi-professional soccer team. The result was motivating and he continued to develop his work outs and proper eating disciplines as a lifestyle. Garko had big dreams and a great love of sport and the outdoors that he was determined to make his career.

Truthfully, I can say that no other place offers such consistent conditions or unique riding locations as Nantucket. I learned to kite on island and to this day it is still my favorite place to ride. The beginner accessibility and safe learning conditions make Nantucket an unrivaled location to learn and progress your riding.
